Strategy
ARAG’s Refer programme features a number of custom elements and configurations that support its
specific marketing goals. The solution allows users who have websites to apply for approval as
affiliates, following which they can promote the programme on their sites and access extra
information via their login. The client has a customised reporting format that shows sales from
'regular' referrers as well as affiliates.
Both customers and employees can make referrals, and each group has its own customised referral
form and login. Over time, the scope of the solution has grown to include new products, principally
insurance 'bundles' comprising different types of cover. A feature has also been added to allow
high-performing referrers to attain 'silver', 'gold' and 'diamond' status.
Results
ARAG's OMG Refer programme has delivered sustained growth in its customer base, becoming one of the key elements of its online marketing strategy.
