Richard completed a degree in Politics at the University of East Anglia before beginning his career at Norwich Union Investment Management in project management working on the launch of system compliance for EMU in 1999. Whilst at Aviva, Richard subsequently moved into IT as a graduate trainee developer then worked in various ecommerce management roles.

After founding OMG in 1999, Richard guided the group from its small scale beginnings as a Search Marketing consultancy into the UK’s No1 financial affiliate network and international performance marketing group with a turnover of £25m and activity in over 10 countries across Europe and Asia.

Over the last 12 years he has established and developed an effective management team to suit the needs of the rapidly changing market whilst developing strong partnerships to facilitate aggressive international growth

Nic Redfern, Chief Financial Officer

Nic qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young working with an extensive range of clients within the Financial Services and Media sectors, including Aviva and Archant.

After joining Virgin Money in 2000 to establish the finance team for Virginmoney.com Nic then established the financial analysis team for the Virgin Money Group. Nic played a key role in the launches of the Virgin Credit Card in the UK and Virgin Money in Australia.

Nic joined OMG in 2004. His group-wide responsibilities cover all aspects of finance and accounting including contracts and commercials, compliance and HR. Nic also plays an active role in strategic planning and management and is responsible for the legal and financial framework of the group’s international strategy.

Nic lives in Norwich and is married with two children.

Carla Arrindell , Client Services Director

Since joining OMG in 2004, Carla’s ability to engage clients and develop an intimate understanding of their objectives, along with her tenacious approach has enabled her to establish intimate relationships with industry leading publishers, ultimately securing her position as Publisher Director in 2007, and then Group Account Director in 2009. Her unrivalled knowledge of the affiliate industry proved invaluable to developing and delivering growth strategies for OMG’s clients and also securing new business wins.

Now as Client Services Director, she is responsible for a team of 25 who are focused on delivering market leading insight and commercial success to their clients. Carla oversees strategy and implementation for heavyweight clients including RBS, Lloyds Banking Group, Santander, Eurostar and GoCompare to name but a few.

Carla is a singer in her spare time and seeks out live music, good food and great films to feed her creative spirit. She also enjoys travelling and frequently visits family on the Caribbean island of Aruba.

Anthony James, Business Development Director

Anthony studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of East Anglia before travelling for a year through Africa, Australia and the US. He was then recruited to the PriceWaterhouseCoopers graduate training programme, joining their Global Risk Management practice, and spent three years working with diverse clients including Lloyds of London, Bacardi-Martini and Lambeth Borough Council.

Following PwC Anthony joined Cartezia, a digital business incubator before joining one of the ‘spin out’ companies Teamwarrior, a technology company providing the first hand held navigation and data services product in the UK with HP, establishing a sales channel via High street an online stores.

Anthony joined OMG in 2004 with a brief to expand OMG's client base. He led the development of OMG into a leading affiliate network in the UK, using the group's premium account management capabilities as a basis to unlock new opportunities and build a client base of over 100 brands. Currently, Anthony works on deepening OMG's relationships with leading brands, either directly or in partnership with marketing agencies.

Anthony is married with three children and lives in Reigate.

Nathan Salter, Chief Operating Officer

Following a BA and Masters degree in European Union with French, Nathan worked in policy representation for a chamber of commerce, with additional responsibilities for project management and organising events.

In 2000, Nathan began working part-time with OMG's founder Richard Syme. In 2009 Nathan stepped into the role of COO taking on wider responsibilities, including within client services, for ensuring a strategic focus on quality and operational efficiency which has included a greater focus on process efficiency as well as the establishment of the Global Operations team.

Externally, Nathan plays an active role on the IAB actively contributing to the Affiliate Marketing Council and as of January 2012 chairing the Legislation subcommittee.

Giles Hunt, IT Director

Giles began his career in 1999 at Virgin, where he worked as a web developer at Virgin Direct and Virgin Money. While there he created award-winning pension and ISA websites, as well as overseeing the process of combining of two major websites when Virgin Direct and Virgin Money merged into a single entity.

Giles joined OMG in 2001. Initially, his role was to help develop UK Web Promotion (later OMG Search) and provide the technical expertise to allow UK Internet Directories to become one of the UK's biggest affiliates.

In 2001, as OMG moved into affiliate marketing, his focus moved to the creation of the company's unique affiliate management and tracking system.

Today, as Technical Director, Giles is responsible for OMG's technical strategy and for coordinating the work of a growing development team across multiple products, languages and territories.

Mark Solway, Innvoations Director

Mark completed a BSc in International Business and Modern Languages before joining Esso, where he worked as an SAP Analyst and later in Library and Information Services. Mark then spent 2 years improving foreign language skills whilst working for the Japanese government on the JET Programme. He subsequently reinforced his experience in software research and development, initially helping to establish a global localisation team for Seagate Software (which later became Crystal Decisions and Business Objects) and subsequently managing the UK project management function for the business.

Whilst at OMG, Mark was initially responsible for globalising the technology platform alongside the management of the software development team. Following the acquisition of our first referral marketing clients, Mark took on a client-facing role, working closely with customers to capture both technical and service requirements and latterly in defining the strategic direction of the OMG Rewards product set, both within the UK and internationally.

Stephen Rumbelow, Commercial Director

Stephen is qualified with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and began his career at Norwich Union in 1989, where he worked on high profile projects, such as the flotation of Norwich Union in 1997, as well as developing the ecommerce strategy for Norwich Union’s Investment Funds business at the dawn of digital marketing.

Stephen has held senior ecommerce and marketing roles within Financial Services, Mobile Telecoms and Retail, working for well known brands like Virgin Money, Virgin Mobile, Hiscox and Moneyfacts. At Moneyfacts, Stephen was responsible for developing the ecommerce strategy for their consumer facing price comparison website, where he increased website traffic and revenues threefold.

At Virgin Money, Stephen was responsible for bringing to market the Virgin Personal Loan and developing the Rewards strategy for the Virgin Credit Card, developing distribution and rewards partnerships with high profile brands such as lastminute.com, Vue Cinemas and Virgin Trains. Stephen brings to OMG intimate knowledge of the finance sector and a wealth of client-side online marketing experience.
